Hexcel Congratulates Airbus Helicopters on H160 Certification
STAMFORD, Conn., July 2, 2020 – Hexcel congratulates Airbus Helicopters for receiving certification granted by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for the medium twin H160 helicopter.
Since June 2017 when Hexcel was selected to collaborate on the H160 prototype from Airbus Helicopters, the two companies have worked together to create added value for customers in performance, economic competitiveness, safety, and comfort. Hexcel’s reinforcements, prepregs, adhesives, and honeycomb materials for the lightweight fuel-saving design and performance optimization have helped achieve this.
